Non Degree
Students

Applicants, who have fulfilled the entrance requirements, can enroll in their desired subjects. Academic credits can be earned for these subjects after having satisfactorily completed their requirements. and Carnegie Mellon University Transcript of Record is issued.
Auditing
Students

Applicants, who have fulfilled the entrance requirements, can audit their desired subjects. No academic credits can be earned for the audited subjects.

How to Apply
Entrance Requirements 1) Have sufficient knowledge and expertise in the field.
2) Possess adequate English proficiency in order to follow graduate level instruction in English at an American University.
Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees 1) Tuition: The same fee as what is being charged at CMU’s U.S. Campus (US$5,250 per course/12 units.)
2) Registration fee: The same fee as what is being charged at CMU’s U.S. Campus(US$100)

Application Materials and their Receiving Offices 1) A Completed Application Form in English.(To be mailed to Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan [1])
2) Official Transcripts of Records (in English) for all college and university level studies. It should clearly indicate whether a degree was earned or not. The official transcripts must contain university registrar’s seal. (To be mailed to Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan [1])
3) An official copy of TOEFL scores. (Not needed if medium of instruction during undergraduate studies was in English). To mailed to INI [2].
4) An official copy of GRE scores. (GRE requirement is waved for those who enroll/attend to only one subject). To mailed to INI [2].
Application Fee (Tentative) Application fee is US$55.
